Strength and Generosity

December 6th, 2008

In Native American lore, the bear is a symbol of practicality, level-headedness and generosity. In dreams, the creature represents calm, stoic strength, and indicates a time of reflection.

It is only fitting that our loved one, Beth, has donned the nickname “Bear” since childhood. She is a touchstone to family and friends. A woman of strength, dedication and perseverance; unafraid to speak her mind, yet humble enough to hold her tongue.

And so, it is with grace and quiet might that Beth once again wages battle against the often merciless opponent that is cancer. Yet, when her reserves are low, she must lean on the very family and friends that have often turned to her for energy and guidance.

It is our love and dedication to this wonderful woman that moves us to action. Now is our time to honor Beth, recognizing her struggle as well as ours, as we face this challenge together.
